Once again, I AM NOT POOR!! I promise!! LOL I keep getting asked that when I tell people I dumpster dive sometime. Its funny because people will lower their voice and ask me if I need some help financially and that if I do they can help me out. Hahahaha I’m like naw, I work four jobs! And not because I have to! I just like to stay busy. I am blessed! I’m very glad to know that people care about me!

Well I couldn’t resist the urge to go back and dumpster dive. I have been getting mixed reactions when I tell people I have been and how much fun it has been. I hadn’t gone for a few weeks because of the cold weather.  My friend has been wanting to go but she doesn’t live here and every time she is here I don’t want to go. So one night after work, I wasn’t tired and wanted to go do something. I figured tonight would be a great night to take her and show her the ropes. Once I got her on board, I hit up my “ride or die” dumpster diving buddy and she was down.I think this was the best night that I have ever had! We decided to go to more stores this time and we have finally learned the trash schedule so now we know what nights to go to what stores.  We were  not ready for what was in store for us this night.

Here are some, and I mean just some, because I was so cold and ready to go home, I only took pics of what I could and was like screw the rest. Remember, everything we got was brand new and working!!!

(3) keurigs

We were super stoked just finding these!!!! I was like no way!! This was way too good to be true!!!! My two friends were like this is not real!!!!

(1) coffee maker

I am not even a coffee drinker but I got it anyway. Someone would want it. It was new!!! All the parts!!

(6) boxes of candy (expiration date was like next month)

I know you are probably like “ugh, I’ll pass on the candy”. That is what I said because I didn’t like the brand of candy. But it was still wrapped in the plastic like they didn’t even open to place it out for people to buy. ( there could have been a reason for that lol ) But the expiration date was for some far out date in 2015 so it must be legit. Plus, the store we were at writes the reason that the things were thrown out. So you can read why it is thrown out and decide if you want it.

(8) wine bottle holders

So about these wine bottle holders, there are in the shape of heels!!!! It was so funny when I pulled them out, I was like hey, someone threw away some really cute shoes!!!! Then reality hit me and realized that the shoes were glass. They are just too cute!! I would wear them if they were real. I thought about selling them ( I sell everything, I live on ebay and craigslist) but then I set them on my coffee table and I fell in love. I’m

keeping them unless someone is offering something worth talking about.

(1) ottoman that pulls out into a table

This was still in the box taped up!!!! When we opened it, it worked! nothing missing!!! who throws out brand new furniture!!! I was really trying to find out what was wrong with it!!! I had to take a pic of the pic because it was too dark for you to see what it really looked like.

(2) huge vases

These were some legit vases!!! I literally had to get all the way in the dumpsters and get help trying to get these things out!! They are solid!!!! I was so afraid I was going to drop them and break them!!! I promise they weigh 100 pounds!!!

(1) frying pan

This was a very nice frying pan!! I dream of making pancakes all day with this pan!!!

(1) Simon game

I don’t know where the picture I took for this went but you’ll see the pic of what I’m talking about. Every time I tell someone I got a Simon game, they are like “what?” or like “oh ok” and I know that they don’t know what I am talking about. Its cool because I would have been like what is that also.

We also found some other random stuff that I didn’t really care about but my other two friends wanted. I’m gonna start taking pictures of everything. Everything was worth something but if I didn’t care about it I didn’t take a pic of it. I’ll do better next time.
