Thanksgiving (Desserts)

As I posted in my last Thanksgiving post, I worked all Thanksgiving. I’m bout that money, but I low key really missed my family and friends. As I also mentioned earlier, I made some food for some of my friends. I shared the Quinoa Enchiladas, now I am sharing my Sweet Potato Pie and Mixed Berry and Angel Food Cake.

I don’t have much to say about the Sweet Potato Pie because I made it off the top of my head. I had seen and helped my dad make it for years that I don’t even think while I make it.

Ingredients:

Brown sugar, eggs, sweet potatoes, pie crust, butter, nutmeg, cinnamon, and vanilla flavor.

Directions:

Boil the potatoes, mixed that stuff together, throw it in a pie crust and stick it in the oven!!! Don’t you just love my directions? LOL Told you, I cant remember how I did everything.

I forgot to take a after picture. My friends wanted to eat it right then!

Now my Mixed Berry and Angel Food Trifle Cake!!! To me this was like the greatest dessert I ever made!!!! It was so good I had to force myself to stop eating it and go to bed!!!! I’m such a fatty!! LOL I actually got this from Pinterest and I will share the link so you can see the ingredients and how to make it. This recipe calls fro Angel Food Cake, I couldn’t find that so I opted for pound cake. I like pound cake better anyway because of the thickness. Here is my version of the cake…

Looked and tasted YUMMY!!!!

Here is the link to the person who posted it first. I did everything except I swapped the Angel Food Cake for Pound Cake.
