So I received a Ninja blender last year for Christmas. I love my blender so much!! I use it at least twice a day! For real!!! But for some reason, I believe that it is jinxed!!! Well here’s the story about my ninja. So I got it for Christmas! I was taking great care of it. Well I have a 12 year old brother who loves to come visit me. He came and stayed the week with me before school started. Unlike me, he loves cooking!!! He will cook breakfast, lunch and dinner if you allow him. But remember he is 12!! LOL Well one day he decided he would make me a smoothie, even after clear directions to NOT use my Ninja!!! I couldn’t be too mad at him because it screams “USE ME”!!! I have no earthly idea was he was trying to do but he broke one of my containers. Like the blade popped off and cracked the container!!! In multiple places!!! Like if you had any liquid in it, it would spill out through the holes! Boy was I upset!!!! I was super sad!!!! But come on, I thought it was a sweet gesture once I calmed down. Come on, its my baby brother, I got over it.

Well here’s the next reason I believe my Ninja is jinxed. As you can see in the picture, the Ninja blender I have, you have to place the motor on top of the container and you press the silver part and it blends. There are grooves that the motor slides into in order for it to blend. Now I have two roommates and we share the kitchen. Being the oldest of three kids, I am used to sharing, so sharing my things does NOT bother me one bit. Well one day one of my roommates was using the blender and was not paying attention to the grooves and it stripped the grooved and broke the motor and the blade would not turn. At this point I was like screw it. LOL I couldn’t get mad. Things happen and she bought me another ninja so I was back in business.

My last reason as to why my Ninja is jinxed. So I was loading the dishwasher last night and I placed the blender parts in the dishwasher. This is something I do on the norm, so I didn’t think anything to it. BTW, I hate doing dishes with a passion!!! Like I don’t understand why you cant just place the dishes in the sink and they automatically wash, dry, and put themselves up!!! LOL But anyway, I woke up to this burning smell in the kitchen and was like “Oh goodness, what did I do???”. I did not think that it was anything major until I opened up the dishwasher. I opened it up and my heart dropped!!! Sitting at the bottom of the dishwasher, melted to the heating element was my blade for the smaller container. WHAT IN THE WORLD???? Now I have to buy another blade!!!! Why does this happen to me??? LOL

Now tell me, is my Ninja jinxed or what??? LOL
